Connecting to the optimal wireless SSID ensures seamless access to online lecture streams, SMPWeb portals, library e-resources, and engineering cloud software suites.

- Click the Wi-Fi icon on your taskbar and select UTeM-Wifi or eduroam.
- Check "Connect automatically" and click Connect.
- Enter your Student Matric Number (e.g.
b032110000) and SMPWeb password. - When the "Continue connecting?" server thumbprint prompt appears, click Connect to trust the PPPK server.
- If authentication drops, disable "Random Hardware Addresses" in Wi-Fi properties.
🍎 Apple iOS, iPadOS & macOS
- Tap eduroam or UTeM-Wifi in Settings.
- Enter your full student email (for eduroam) or Matric ID and password.
- When prompted with the
radius.utem.edu.myCertificate, tap Trust in the upper right. - For Wifi UTeM Net captive network, disable "Private Wi-Fi Address" to avoid repeated logins.
🐧 Linux (Ubuntu, Debian & Fedora)
- Open Network Settings and choose eduroam.
- Wi-Fi Security: WPA & WPA2 Enterprise.
- Authentication: Protected EAP (PEAP).
- Inner Authentication: MSCHAPv2.
- CA Certificate: None (check No CA certificate is required).
- Enter student email credentials and connect.

When studying from off-campus rental units or during semester breaks, specific campus systems and high-value research databases require secure university network tunneling:
